“Fiction vs. Non-fiction Publishing and Sales” is Mar. 17 Topic for Thrifty Author Publishing Network

February 15, 2011

Charlotte:  Authors and aspiring authors will be discussing  the difference between selling and publishing fiction and non-fiction when the Thrifty Author Publishing Network meets on Mar. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Caribou Coffee at 2706 West Mallard Creek Church Road in Charlotte, NC.

New book titles were up in 2010, but sales are slipping and major bookstore chains are struggling.  Find out the difference between selling a fiction book and a non-fiction book, and how the publishing paths differ.

Part ask-the-expert and part discussion group, the Thrifty Author Publishing Network is led by bestselling author Gail Z. Martin to help aspiring authors navigate the difficult path to publication.

For those who can’t make it to the live event, the site also posts a new pre-recorded teleseminar on publishing topics each month.
