“Self Publishing Vs. Traditional Press: How To Decide” is Feb. 9 Topic for Thrifty Author Publishing Network

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Charlotte:  Authors and aspiring authors will be discussing  shifts in the publishing industry when the Thrifty Author Publishing Network meets on Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Caribou Coffee at 2706 West Mallard Creek Church Road in Charlotte, NC.

In 2009, one million books were published in the U.S. (including self-publishing). With all those choices, the question of how authors can choose the right path to publication for their books is more difficult than ever.

Part ask-the-expert and part discussion group, the Thrifty Author Publishing Network is led by bestselling author Gail Z. Martin to help aspiring authors navigate the difficult path to publication.

For those who can’t make it to the live event, the site also posts a new pre-recorded teleseminar on publishing topics each month.

Visit, join or look for upcoming events at http://www.meetup.com/Thrifty-Author-Publishing-Success-Network/ and also “like” The Thrifty Author on Facebook.
